Maple Acres, a community staple for over 100 years, has several fields full of zinnias in every color you can imagine. I had the pleasure of meeting Wesley and his loving family when he was 8 days fresh. He slept so well for the first half of his session and was wide awake and just so content for the remainder. My absolute favorite light to photograph in is 8AM on an October morning. If I could convince 31 families to meet me at that early hour (and the weather to cooperate) I'd book an 8AM session every. single. day. I love it that much. I could wax poetic about how a sun, still low in the sky, filters through shades of yellow, orange, red and green forever. But, instead, here in photographic summary is why I love October mornings.
