Whew! All caught up on emails and calls after hitting the ground running this morning.
It is important to be intentional about the time you spend away from work. Set boundaries about responding to emails or being available via phone. Your time is important.
When you're your own boss, it can be hard to give yourself permission to step away. I genuinely love my job and feel really lucky because of that. But, it's still my job. It's still the way I earn an income to help support my family and it's still important for me to take time away from it to rest, relax and come back creatively recharged. Absolutely mission accomplished.
Enjoy time with the people you love as often as you can!
