I love when I get to see my newborn families again to celebrate baby's first year. Everyone is a bit more well rested and gearing up for lots of new milestones. It's so fun to recall their one of a kind features from their newborn days and document how they've changed over the last 12 months.
I always encourage families to hop in the photos, even if the main focus is on the birthday boy or girl. Starting the session with parents and siblings helps the newly minted one year old feel a bit more comfortable in front of the camera. Allowing them to feel that they can trust me and their environment will ensure we get those genuine smiles and silly expressions!
Milestone sessions can take place at my Doylestown, PA studio, your home, or at an outdoor location in Bucks or Montgomery county. As a family photographer in the area for over 8 years, I know all of the best locations for optimal light and scenery.
