It was wonderful to meet this family in my Doylestown, PA studio for their newborn photography session. These brothers were so sweet together; I could already see their incredible bond and know they'll be running around together before their parents can blink!
Bringing a new baby home can be a wild and wonderful time of change - especially for older siblings. Acclimating to these changes can take time and is one of the reasons I suggest photographing babies when they are between 2 - 4 weeks old. This gives everyone in the family some time to get to know each other which can make a big difference on session day. Allowing mom some time to recover from labor and delivery and establish routine and comfort with feeding are also benefits of waiting a few weeks to schedule your newborn session.
There's no reason to rush into the studio during your first week home. I'm confident we'll capture a gorgeous gallery of sweet and sleepy newborn images; just like the ones you see here!
